Valentine's Already?

I can not believe that a month and a half of school has already flown by in the year 2013. Where does the time go?
We have been super busy these past few weeks... here are just a few of the things we have done!

 

We celebrated the 100th day of school...

 

We have been hard at work writing. We can all write at least THREE sentences now.

 

We have learned how to make bigger shapes using small shapes...

 

And we have learned how to group things together when we count big numbers so that we count faster. These two boys are doing a Counting Collection. They have three minutes to count all the objects in their bowl, write their number in their journal, and illustrate how they count! (I think they had 87 items in this bowl!)  They are FAST!
